Dang blasted ground hog -- help needed!

Just got home from work.  I have been working for the last 3 hours on 
this hose replacement.  I am sure this hose was put on in Germany.  So 
before I was upset, but almost more amused at the ground hog 
experience.  Now I am just angry.  Turns out that is not all they have 
been messing with.  My completely rust free car now has hundreds of 
tooth marks in the undercoating.  Some have caused surface rust to start 
on the floor boards.  The e-brake cable I put in last year has part of 
the outer rubber sheath chewed off.  The even tried to chew through the 
exhaust heat shield under the trunk.

Oh yeah.  I answered my own question.  The hoses that run from the tank 
to the fuel pump are 7/16" ID.

Tommorrow is the call to animal control...
