Best way to remove insulation/sound deadening?

If it is the same stuff used in Rabbits it is amazing stuff.  I tried 
all sorts of chemicals with little to no effect when I was caging mine.  
Like Jim said the only thing that seems to do anything is heat.  I used 
a propane torch.  Got a section warm then set it down and worked on it.  
The torch did not make it easy, it just made it possible.

Good luck!  Hopefully it is like the Rabbit and the glue is limited to 
certain areas instead of the entire floor pan.
