A4 ABS and Brake warning lights

Identical symptoms on my systers 98 A4 (2.8). Problem wound up being a
ton of rust particles were stuck to the magnetic ABS pickup sensors at
each wheel. It all started after a brake change, and it seems it knocked
free a lot of rust from the 'gear' on the axle. After cleaning them off
all was well again, but it came back after a week or so. When I cleaned
it out I used compressed air, should have used a vacuum, I know there
was still a ton of crap down in there.
