Hi Dennis, sorry I didn't answer back sooner.
Steve's answer is right on the money- you just need to flip your
subscription back on; it takes an extensive period of bouncing for
you to actually be -removed- from the list; initially the list
software simply disables delivery to you(it sets the "nomail" option).
This and other topics (including Stupid Mailman Tricks) are covered
in the help section, which hasn't been very well publicized:

Quotas are one of the top reasons I don't recommend people use
webmail accounts to subscribe to the list, although Google has
certainly upped the ante with Gmail. Another reason is that hotmail
and yahoo mail servers are notoriously bad; the logs are full of
failed/dropped connections to both.
Since so many listers use webmail, I'll quickly comment on my brief
experience with Gmail (an old coworker invited me to the beta) -
looks nice...a few features missing I might like to have, but it -is-
still in beta. If anything, it'll press the other webmail services
into innovation; since they're so popular I doubt they'd be able to
offer the same amount of space, but they'll still need some way to
compete, especially since gmail doesn't tack on ads to your emails.
