a vote for the c4

While it could be described as "Audi meets Taurus" my
C4 ('93 100 FWD) has been a decent car.  Agreed on the
oil, and on the tranny, I remove (then refill) about 3
qts out of it whenever I change the engine oil.

Parts ARE cheaper and easier to get on the 5k series,
though.  BTDT.  Simply 'cause the C4 was produced
during Audi's "dark years" in N.A.
