Power Output Module on a 2000 A4 1.8T

Power output stage, possibly? That's an ignition component, feeds
the ignition coils, commonly fails.

Price sounds a bit high, labor should not be, if it is the POS.

My mother was just told that her Power Output Module needs to be
replaced on her 1.8t. That is supposed to be the module that distributes
fuel to the engine. I have never heard of that part before, I've heard
of fuel distributors though.

The part is $400, labor about $200. Does anyone know anything about this
part (and the price)?
