200q 20v shift linkage

I had trouble with this after a tranny swap, and the shift linkage(or 
was it the stabilizer linkage?  I can't remember now) was twisting 
ever so slightly where the two halves join together.  After it was 
tightened, the shifting problem for 1/2/5/R went away(it actually got 
so bad I only had 3rd/4th).
