A4 1996 driving shaft lenght

Well, when i cant get any proper replies from AudiW... A4 forum.... mmmm lets try on my favorit one ;-)

My A4 1996 driving shaft from auto tranny is 117cm long.
How about the driving shaft from a manual tranny A4 ? same driving s lenght ?

I have been told the manual tranny driv shaft is longer cause the manual tranny is shorter than the auto tranny. The problem is my 100Q 01A tranny (witch is the same type as the 01A in A4) fit in my A4 and right bolt to the auto tranny driving shaft, AND the lenght is good. So i guess  both manual and auto tranny A4 hhave same lenght shaft !!
