Loss of Oil Pressure - A4 1.8T

Maybe the PO somehow killed the prime on the oil pump.
 I'd disconnect the ign coils and fuel injectors, and
find an area right after the pump where you might be
able to get oil to flow out of, like the filter?  I'm
not sure what the 1.8t's like.  If you get oil flowing
while cranking, then you know your pump is still
primed and OK, then maybe you can try and figure out
from there where the system might be plugged.
