You can check the motor easily. Just jump from a battery to the two wire
plug (green/black) in the door, with a battery. One way(pos/neg) raises and
the other lowers the window. If it works, the motor and regulator are good.

Subject: driver's window won't go down - 93 90csq

For whatever reason, my driver's side window won't go down. I pulled off
the interior panel to do some troubleshooting and checked 1) to see if there
were any broken wires at the door jam (none) 2) swapped switches and was
able to raise/lower all other doors, so I know it isn't the switch. 3) all
contact points are clean - no corrosion (CA car).

When I push "up" on the switch, I hear a small clicking noise, however,
when I press "down", I hear nothing... which brings me to believe that it
has something to do with the motor. Is this a correct assumption? The
question is, How should I go about checking the motor? or even removing it.
I removed the regulator nuts, but can't get the regulator to come down low
enough. The bentley says that I need to remove the "door component
carrier", which looks lengthy and difficult. Is there anyway to safely
remove the motor wo/ doing this? Or is the carrier easier to remove than the
bentley shows.

Thanks for any advice,

Joe
