I would imagine it'll be difficult to reach all of
the nuts holding the motor to the shroud. If the
shroud is part of what you are replacing, no way not
to pull the radiator. If it's truely just the motor,
one thing to evaluate would be to see if there are any
bolts under the motor "can" that can be reached reasonably.
A hand mirror may help here. Unfortunately, I have a
strong feeling that there are bolts that run through
the front of the motor through the shroud, so IMHO,
you won't be able to do this without at least unmounting
the radiator (if you unmount, then pull the fan/shroud,
you may be able to avoid draining/refilling/bleeding the
cooling system.)

Need to replace the rad fan motor in my 5kcstq. Can be done without
pulling the radiator too? Trying to estimate much time to allocate.
