Audi has always had a certain blindness to market trends IMHO.  Here in
Montana, Outback wagons have sold like condoms in a whore house since they
came out in what, '92?  Suburbans, Expeditions, ect. also have sold like
door handles on a type 44.  So Audi finally comes to the plate with the
Allroad 8 years after the 100 CS quattro?  Sure, the Allroad is more
sofisticated than a 100 CS with big wheels and body clading (like the
Outback), but how many could the have sold?  Even CrossCountys have sold a
ton since there inception.  Does slow equal good?
