I noted with interest the typical improper use of language in the virus
attempt..

The biggest thing that stands between these clowns and success in spreading
viruses is that they consistently manage to mis-pell or mis-use simple words
in their pathetic messages. It's unlikely to fool anyone with better than a
fifth grade education.
How infrequently have any of us EVER received such a virus attempt that came
in a *believable* message in which all the words were used accurately and
spelled correctly?
I've seen a very few in which the words were spelled correctly, but usually
those were the ones that said things like "Good joke, check this...". Seems
like four to five words is the most these idiot savants can spell correctly.
If they ever get smart enough and crafty enough to put out a coherent,
well-written message with a linguistically correct subject line and content,
maybe we'll really be in trouble. Maybe.
I'd rank the Ebay identity theft attempts that purport to take you to an
Ebay website as about the most convincing I've seen - but not good enough to
trap a suspicious old coot like me.
Ar, ar, mates.
