MC-2 Engine Build - balance

I am proceeding with rebuilding an MC-2 engine and would like to have it capable of handling 400HP regardless of whether I crank that much out or not. The engine is in good condition and as expected hone marks still visible on cylinder walls. Over and above deglasing, rings, bearings and seals and a throurough cleaning, what else should I spend any money or time.

One consideration is to balance the crank with flywheel and harmonic balancer. I had understood that the MC-2 was already balanced from the factory. Should I still have this done?

Any recommendation on knife-edging crank, rods, etc. I don't want to spend any more than necessary if only marginal gains are expected.

Are stock threaded fastners OK to re-use, or should I replace with new or something else.

I understand stock headbolts are OK as long as they are replaced and not planning to be taking the head off frequently.

Just looking for advice regarding the bottom end so as not to confuse matters. TIA for replies.

Ben
