[s-cars] Windshield replacement.

When I had to replace the windshield in my Jetta and MKI Golf, the only
option was Seikert (spell?). PPG didn't make offer one.  Unless they are the
same company.  Both shields had the blue strip on the top too.  Also, my
insurance company wouldn't pay for factory VW glass either or I had to pay
out of my pocket for the price difference.  Hope your insurance company will
cover the one you want.

Bob,
I'd go with aftermarket, namely PPG. Especially in FL where you live: 
PPG has a nice wide blue tint band in the top.
