"First thing, before you do anything else, is to cycle the emergence flasher
switch a buncha times. I've found this to be an effective cure for this
same problem innumerable times. The contacts get corroded and cycling the
switch cleans them off. The turn signal switch won't work unless the hazard
circuit is OFF. Next thing is to try the relay, which is attached to the
back of the cluster. Remove the 4 screws holding the cluster cover in
place, work the cover off, and you'll see the relay behind the tach on the
right corner. Use a German flasher, that US junk doesn't get it. HTH, John
Well, I was driving to my Guard Weekend This Morning and my Blinkers
Stopped Working. The Blinker light is on permanently and none of the lights
work on the outside of the car. The stalk still moves like it should and
locks for the turn like normal. The question I have is what could this be
attributed to? My thoughts are
1. Burned out bulb somewhere
2. Blinker relay
Since I am at guard I cannot do a whole lot of troubleshooting. If someone
could help me with some BTDT it would be great"
Thanks
Nate
