FWIW, IIRC Audi documentation specifically advises _against_ using any
places other than the normal jacking points to jack the car. As a point of
interest, do the dealers use these jack points when raising the car on a hoist?
IIRC (again), 'someone' mentioned a while ago that there was some sort of
adapter that spanned the underside of the car from jack point to jack
point. A floor jack could then be used to lift the car from the centre of
the adapter.
