What about placing the jack stands under the subframe "anchor spots" after
jacking up via the jacking points? I was advised by several on this list
to put the jackstands under the inboard edges of the subframes on my 4kq.
So I jack it up at the corners using the jacking points and then put the
stands under the subframes. Someone even referred me to a website with a
picture of jackstands being used that way.
