Mike wins the prize for identifying the tail light gremlin... I'm the one
who put the wrong bulb in.  The old 2-filament  bulb had shattered due to
ice/water in the housing so I couldn't see the number of filaments.  I
could have taken me a >long< time to figure this out without Mike's input.
