My 95 90 sport q's electronics is behaving like a microsoft product

Could be the load reduction ("X") relay.  It is used to bypass the 
ignition switch with most of the "running gear" current, and also stops 
those things from running while you are cranking.

Either that or, as mentioned, a dying ign. switch.
