Tracking down the 5000 TQ Shutter!

Well, still have quite a bit of high BAR pressure to keep the car moving
at a constant speed.

One thought was maybe the Cad converter was plugged. Went to an exhaust
shop, and they check it out. Converter is good, but hot from excessive fuel!

Also found ripped boot on Const. Velocity Joint at Drivers front spindle.
So this weekend, taking axel out and fixing this. Its probably the
shutter/vibration source but since this is my first front wheel/four
wheel drive vehicle, I would think it would be making more noise or break?

Would it be adding so much drag, it would cause the car to heat, and use
more fuel, heating the converter up? I'm thinking that fixing the axel
may make all of the other problems go away?

Thanks in advance!
