Excuse me, I was mistaken, it's not SD, it's serial, plugs into the the bottom slot, not the top SD. I keep confusing the two (I'm pretty new to this PDA thing). Anyway, the GPS I bought was the i. Trek Mouse GPS. I got it based on the advice I got in an e-mail from Mapopolis:
"Here's what I suggest:
First of all, if you get this gps
http://www.semsons.com/itmousgpsrec.html
for $109.99, you can add this optional pedestal
http://www.semsons.com/adarwinped.html
for $12.99, take the base off the free air vent mount that
Semsons tosses in, put it on the pedestal, and you'll
have the $44.95 car cradle that is sold by these
folks:
http://www.arkon.com
Then, you need to come to our site and purchase the
Navigator package for $99.95. (Oh, and we'll make it
$89 to beat Semson's price - so please buy the Map
Pack from us!)
Here's how it adds up:
109.99 <- gps
12.99 <- car cradle
89.00 <- Navigator maps
-----
211.98
Pretty nice compared to $249 for the bundle, eh?
I'm also sending you a small help file that we created
for you Treo owners. Thank you for your interest in running
Navigator on your phone."
So, looking back at my records, it was around $225, not $250.

I also have a Treo 600 and Mapopolis. Can you tell me what you bought for
the GPS SD card?
By the way, if you ever have any questions or problems, email me. I work for
palmOne (formerly Handspring), and am responsible for Treo 600 sales to
carriers in Canada and USA.

combination of the GPS & software turned my phone into a full navigation
system that speaks. I just enter the start end end addresses and it figures
out the rest. It even speaks the directions..."prepare to turn right in 1/4
mile...turn right at next intersection..."
