I've never thought about the reason, but I can confirm that I _always_ caution owners who've
had clutch work done that the pedal will be so easy to move compared with how it was when they
brought the car in that it's possible they might injure themselves.

If you're expecting the old 200lb push and get a 20lb push, it can be a bit surprising.
