I do not know if these plastic parts are available from the dealer or not.

Mine broke on I-68 in WV on a Sunday afternoon and I really wanted cruise
control for the remainder of the trip back to SW Indiana, so I went to
Lowes and bought some strap used to hang pipe or conduit. This is that
metal ribbon with holes every 1/2 inch or so.

I performed the fix right there in the Lowes parking lot in the snow rain
mix using tools from my traveling tool box. I cut a short piece of strap
with a hole centered and attached it to the little forked piece where the
plastic doughnut had been by bending the ends of my short strap around the
forked piece. Then I unthreaded the cruise control actuator rod and passed
it through the hole on the strap that was now crimped to the fork on the
vacuum actuator. I put the rod back together and it has performed
flawlessly to this very day.

In fact, when I got home I modified my other Type 44 using the same
procedure as preventive maintenance.

I still need to do this on my latest Type 44. Thanks for reminding me.
