Audi service

I have to say that the Audi dealers around here (DFW
area) have improved in the service area big time.
I'm also glad that Audi stepped up to the 4 year/50k
miles in 2001 (or 2k?).
3 Years ago the service was abysmal. No one to answer
the service phone, no one returning messages.
Appointments for 3 weeks from the day you talk to
them, if you could get someone to talk to. It was
ridiculous, and if I hadn't found Baillargeon Audi in
Bedford TX, I wouldn't be driving an Audi at all
anymore.
I complained to AOA back in the day - I don't know if
they gave a crap or not. But things have gotten far
better in DFW. Baillargeon even loans out brand new
A4's if you come in for warranty service...very nice.
I'm sorry to hear that some of you still get the
abysmal service I used to experience. It's enough to
make you switch brands that's for sure. Complain to
AOA and tell them you will be switching brands, tell
them why, and tell them which dealerships are to
blame. Oh, it helps to fudge a little and imply that
you were in the market for an RS or something :) But
now will be moving to AMG or an M5 thanks to
such-and-such dealer...that gets them ruffled a bit :D
