No, the problem is not that Audi was afraid we'd hurt ourselves with only
200 hp to play with - Audi has just never quite managed to figure out that
what sells cars in the USA is HORSEPOWER - raw, unadulterated,
unapologetic, unrestrained HORSEPOWER, pure and simple.

AMG figured it out. Porsche figured it out. Even the Italians figured it
out - but only if the name of the car ends in "i" - note how many Fiats are
still running here.

There are mommievans here - the lowest and most despicable form of
automotive transportation on the planet bar only the Yugo - that have more
than 200 hp - what Audi doesn't understand is that WE are not driving
around on narrow, winding roads originally laid out two millennia ago by
the Romans.

Sure, its nice if it corners, and yes, we'd really like it to stop, too,
but if it DOESN'T GO everything else is moot, and we're not buying it.

As far as the USA is concerned, cars START at 200 hp. You wanna sell cars
here, they better have some b*lls.
