Audi's future

Michael,
Before picking up my 91 200q20v I had some of those feelings to.
But my budget was a limiting factor.
I too believe the new VAG products are not made like our cars were
built. My friend who works for an Audi specialist confirms this suspicion.
The number of A4's coming into his place and the quality of build is not as
high as compared to the pre 1995.5-96 cars.
My wife has an Outback and it has been pretty good, but has some
issues too. We were just talking about another vehicle that will fit our
lifestyle and another Outback would be preferable. As for a replacement
vehicle for me, I'd love another Audi but don't want the headaches of the
newer cars, i.e. coil packs for example. An this list has pointed out some
of the faults of the newer cars when listers have issues.
One of the vehicles is a SAAB 9-2x which is based on the WRX chassis
and will be a pricier option to the Scubie version. But for $28k and that
small of vehicle for me wouldn't work. I won't bore you with other cars but
the 9-2x could be one on your list. Unfortunately, I may not have an Audi
in the future after this one. Of course my 200q20v has to have some serious
issues before I give her up. Especially with the new Euro lights!
