Dan-
Who is your dealer? Princeton? Flemington? Cherry Hill Imports?
Don Rosen? Jack Daniels? Bell?

Sounds like an exceptional dealer.

Subject: Audi Future/Dealer Experience

Charley, that is exactly what I have, of course, although in a tidier
package! While it's the same engine as in the Passat, it's plenty peppy
for me and cruises at speed very nicely. I love the solid feeling of the
car (feels like it was carved from a solid block) and the features. The
6th gear certainly helps the quietness factor. Turns about 2600 rpm at 75
mph.

As far as the dealer experience goes, I've been there 3 times - once to
purchase the car, once to pick it up and once for the 5k service. All
three experiences were fine. I got the price I wanted to pay for the car
(although I did have to walk out when they initially would not match the
carsdirect.com price I was looking for) and when I went to pick up the
car, it was dead-center in their showroom floor, which I thought was a
nice touch. When I called for service, the service consultant asked when I
wanted to bring it in. I named my date and time and he said fine. I got a
loaner (although not an Audi). The car was ready (washed) when promised.
They also programmed the auto-locking feature for me for free (I had
expected to pay). And I got my follow-up call and gave them all '5's'....
So far, I am extremely happy with both the car and the dealer
experience...
