Installing front driveshaft - D6 locking compund??

I'm ready to install the front driveshaft's and strut housings on my 5kT, but I noticed the Bentley says to apply a bead of D6 locking compund on the splines of the outer CV-joint. Anyone know what that is or an Audi part #? I was also looking at other possibilities today at the parts store... I got Hylomar HPF which is s'posed to be a flange sealant and one of the applications is axle assemblies, but I'm not sure if this is what is needed for strenght or hardness. I also picked up some medium strenght Blue threadlocker. It doesn't require heat to loosen, but they say it must be sheared to remove once cured. I'm just worried I won't be able to remove the parts, b/c splines are different than threads in that the loosening of the nut shears the threadlocker, but the hub would have to be pressed off the CV-joint splines. Any advice or previous experience much appreciated.
