It's the Renault Clio V6:

Same formula, but a very healthy V6 instead of a turbo. It has a
fantastic sound, and the same wild looks as the R5. It is probably
the coolest looking 2-door hatch I've ever seen in recent years, and
if they sold it in the US with AWD...

Top Gear's Clarkson reviewed it and loved it("they've taken a
perfectly sensible, practical car- and stuffed a big engine into it
leaving room for nothing. This is SUCH a bloke's car!"), saying it
had enormous grip which one would be hard-pressed to exceed- except
he found it twitchy when pushed to the limit, as with most
mid-engined cars. He found the front storage area under the hood
large enough for a baby, and the back storage compartment big enough
for a kipper.

Choice quote(with French-accent-impression-by-British-Journalist):

"I zo not wants zo enzer zhis cornahr fast! I want to make luuuv and
cheese, because I ahm FRENCH!"

(with apologies to any French listers :)
