Over the years, I've used a lawyer to reduce speeding charges (NY state). In
recent years after seeing what he did and gathering info off the internet I've
managed to "beg my way" to reducing the infractions myself.
My daughter (driving 3 mos) managed to snag a speeding ticket in Northern NJ.
I'm debating whether to try to reduce the infraction myself by "begging" the
officer at court or hiring a local lawyer that specializes in traffic
infractions. I'm wondering if the officer is more likely to react positively to a
concerned parent or get pissed off by a lawyer.
Any opinions?
