info & where to find '83/'84 TQ Coupe

I would like to find one of the original turbo Quattro coupes -- what I 
believe folks refer to as an ur Quattro.

I don't know much about these cars, although I've visited several Web 
sites, and noticed there are different member groups in Europe (I'm on 
the West coast of the US.)

How would you recommend finding one, and finding out more about them? I 
don't know anyone in my local Audi club who owns one, although I run into 
the newer coupes all the time.

Is it possible to legally import an older Audi from, say, Canada, Germany, 
or Sweden to the U.S.?
