Yeah that s right. For me too was not the answer i wanted ;-)
I would have really like to do a Quattro rear engine with a 1.8T 250hp on
the rear.
But the time consuming and the cost goes hight very fast and anyway it quite
heavy on the rear , 016 + engine +...
The 4x4 bus is the rght way to do.
But the center fluid joint (in drive shaft center)mmm has not good
efficacity i would expect.
I would prefert to fit kinda hydrolic joint that i can set the grip i want
to. 80% or less. 100% ll lost power cause the rear diam is smaller with the
weight transfert on the tires.
Or use the rear section of a 016 Torsen tranny, the Torsen unit and make a
end case with a drive shaft flange..
