200q Climate control

I just got my A/C working on my '91 200q -- replaced receiver/dryer, 
vacuumed out the system, filled it up with oil and 134-a.  Works great, 
except that the compressor is on whenever the engine is running.

Bentley seems to indicate that is most likely a problem with the control 
head or the compressor clutch relay.

Any BTDT to help point me in the right direction.  Am I missing any 
possibiities?
