My first suspect would be the oxygen sensor, Stephane. If you have been 
running it more than 30k miles, it is due for preventive maintenance 
anyhow. If you keep running it that way, the power will drop off so far 
that you will need to pull off the road to avoid getting  run over. 
Consider changing the oxygen sensor.
