Steering rack centering after replacement?

Just count the turns and use the steering wheel angle to figure out where
the rack is centered. Then pull the steering wheel off, move it to the
to centered position, replace the nut, and lock the column. Finally,
use string tied between the front and rear wheels to rough adjust your
alignment.
