Radio Codes 5TQ help

Take the radio and car to the dealer with proof of ownership and ID 
(registration and license should be fine) and get the code from them.

I've done it multiple times(I always misplace the code), and as long 
as I was laid back and willing to wait, there was never a charge at 
the dealership I visit, even for the guy popping it out to read the 
number off the side of the case.

The codes cannot be 'overridden' by anyone except Bosch/Blaupunkt 
service.  It is possible that their "fixing" involves "send the 
radios to Bosch".
