4kq-Operating Temp

Howdy everyone!

I am wondering what the operating temp should be on a
4kq. A friend has installed an aftermarket temp gauge,
but doesn't know at what temp the engine should be
running. The factory gauge has been disconnected, for
reasons I don't know. I tried looking through the
archives, but only found references to where on the
factory gauge the engines operated, 1/2 -2/3, but I
need to know in degrees.
