Don't know about inspired driving, but one thing that turned me off from 
Subaru and Mitsu products was the lower grade materials used for the 
interior. I've seen Subies that are 3 to 4 years old and they definitely 
don't hold up the way an Audi, BMW or any of the high end cars do. The cars 
generate a lot of road noise and bits and pieces of the trim starting falling 
off.
