I believe the screw will bottom out being screwed in, but I'm not completely
sure. The easiest way is to use two people. I'd adjust it to full
lean(unscrewed I believe). Then with the lower airbox out, and the fuel pump
running, push up on the air sensor plate untill you hear the injectors spray
for about a second. Then let it down and crank the car. It should start, but
probably not run well, and it probably won't idle on its own. You will have
to mess with the plate and throttle body, the key being not to flood the
car. When the car has run for about 2 or 3 minutes, I would start adjusting
the CO for what is known as "lean best idle". Let me know if you need any
more help, I'm no expert, but I'll see what I can do.

I recently replaced the head on the NG motor and after getting it running it
had an idle isolation. A "friend" messed with the co adjustment and now I
can't get it started. Is there a position for that adjustment screw that I
can
start it in and then adjust to the +- 0 ma ? Does that screw bottom out
clockwise
or counter clockwise ? Could it have come all the way out of were it's
supposed to go? What or how can I check these things ?
TIA
