Leaking Vents in Hatch of CQ

These vents are clearly leaking on mine. There is no easy solution and I
tackled it today: 

The bumper definetly came off, which is pretty easy. Then I tried to get
around the vent from the outside which you could, but only partially. 

So, off came the bumper surround. The seal around the vent was all dry and
cracked. Total pain to clean the vent and the gook on the body. 

Finally got the vents all cleaned and reapplied the seal. Required major force
to press back on due to too much seal I put on. 

Bumper and valence put back and now there is a NEW leak and it's from the
bumper. Took the bumper off and reapplied the seal at the mounting points. 

And..., NO LEAKS!!!

This job made the tail light seal job seem like adjusting the hatch.

It is a royal pain. Took about 3.5 hours. I would advise just letting it leak
and drain out of the holes on the bottom. Or, try applying the seal from the
inside which did not work with me.
