As far as I know the 20v and sport series fenders are identical. They were
an option in Europe, like you say. The US 20v front bumper is different from
that used in Europe (and here in South Africa), but they're swappable as far
as I've discovered. They don't flare into the bumper like the V8 units do.
That's the reason I was after them as well.

Our 500 (your 5000/100/200 series) has the normal amber tail lights, with
the reflector section around the number plate on the execute 500SE model and
it has amber corner lights and a black plastic number plate surround on the
entry level 500 and 500E. The Audi 500 turbo (Audi 200, front-wheel drive,
automatic, with MC engine) has the V8 rear lights.

I think if you check the part numbers of 20v fenders and those of Sport
units then they'll be the same thing. I think I need to check. I might be
wrong. Either way, sport or 20v, I want a set. :)
