Speaking of shocks

It's getting on time to replace the shocks on my 2000 A6Q.
The answer Ive always used is "Boge Turbo Gas" (Pro Gas if they are
available). Is that still the right answer for a spirited daily driver?
Typically the Bilsteins are too harsh for me, and the Koni adjustables
on my old 100Q just didn't quite cut it.
