Thank you for all the help and ideas, about what went wrong with the old
audi. Well my acceleration would cut out at about 4000 rpm, no more go. It
was not a hard cut out, it just stayed there at 4000 rpm no matter what you
did. Well I pulled the injectors, and there was carbon all over the sides of
them. Not just a little bit of carbon, but a large build up. injector
O-rings where broken and dry. The exaust was forcing its way into the intake
I imagine.

Turns out the cat had broken up, well just the middle of it. If you looked
in either end it looked fine. No cracks no problems. Then I pulled it
totally off and it sounded like a can full of sand. If you hit the cat with
a hammer you couldnt here anything funny. The pieces where small enough to
not make a sound.
It would let the exaust go through untill 4000 and just like a max flow
regulator, it would blow all the broken pieces to the exit and plug up. I
would let off the gas and the pieces would fall down and let the exaust flow
again. If someone else reads this and it helps them not go through the mass
parts change that I went through, then I guess my life can continue.

WHAT A STUPID PROBLEM.
