Power Window Flakiness

the most common cause of this problem is broken wires in the drivers
door jamb area.  pry open the accordian boot between the body and the
door and take a look.  when splicing in your repair (hard work), add a
section of wire so the splices are in the door and in the body, not in
the "hinge" area.

if *any* window works, the circuit breaker is not tripped.

That button only locks out the rear window switches.  Your front 
passenger can still escape the fumes.
