THANKS ALL for the tips + info. the car [you don't all have my car memorised
by now?!?!? =] is an 88 90 with h1/h4 euros and stock hood.

thanks dave - nice description of the whole contraption.

i *think* this is where i am. my hood release lever + cable are all attached
and ok, but pulling the release lever and trying to pull up on the hood i
can feel it's caught on something. i think the hood pin groove is caught in
the receptacle. this happened before when i was test fitting stuff, but i
had the lights, grill, etc all out so no big deal. yes, sometimes you have
to make the mistake 3 or 4 times before it sinks in..

yeah, the bumper and the grill and i can get out easilly enuff. its the
lights that im worried about. IIRC, having the lights out of the way would
make this a lot easier? or is the receptacle behind the support metal, on
the motor side of the world?

>Now, if this is not complicated enough, the right side of the rad support

pass side or drivers side? my pass side is the stuck side. drivers is ok.

In

it always does. =)

THANKS ALL!!!
