CD-2 Engine Detailer

I'm trying to get the Coupe GT ready for the Carlisle Imort National (this upcoming weekend). I want a nice clean & shiny engine & engine bay. Degreasing/cleaning is the easy (but time taking)part, getting that "new car" look is the hard part. I like the looks of a nice glossy engine & bay.  Anyone ever tried CD-2 Engine Detailer? Suposedly all you do is spray it on and walk away. No rubbing or anything and it provides a nice glossy look...Dries tack free and leaves no greasy residue. Repels grease, dirt and moisture. Protects rubber and plastic engine components from cracking and drying. Protects painted and metal surfaces from rust and corrosion....supposedly. Anyone tried it? Happy? Any risks to it?
