9020vq big crankcase breather hose

This maybe of interest to other folks running one of these, i replaced the big crankcase breather hose yesterday for the metal type, a bit of a fiddle to do as it's quite nicely buried underneath the dizzy. The old rubber one was needless to say totally screwed, gone all soft and split, it seems that now having got the new one on that i have solved my warm up hesitation and the car now seems to have all it's grunt back, i can only assume that the split was causing unmetered air in hence it now runs better.

so the moral is even if your hose looks good it probably isn't.
