The Mt. Washington Climb to the Clouds is celebrating its
100th anniversary July 9-12, 2004.  One of the events is
a "Hillclimb to Halfway":

MWAR is also hosting some self-guided tours. Three tours
are being laid out that range in length from 79 miles to
117 miles - the Maine Tour, the Grand Hotel Tour, and the
Four Notches Tour.
