Brett, have you been taking lessons from the Haynes manual...."loosen it
with a wrench"? :)  somewhat oversimplified IMHE.  That is a nuisance to
get a wrench in there, esp with the hyd pump in the way. BTDT.  I saw
your further comments regarding this, but couldn't resist making the
Haynes reference  :)

While on the subject, I have a curious bug relating to the after run
system.  My new afterrun pump comes on all the time when the engine is
running.  When I shut off the engine, it shuts off, and then a few
minutes later it kicks on as it should, circulates some water and goes
off for good.
If the temp sensor was bad, wouldn't it just stay on all the time?  What
else could be making it come on with the engine running?  Any ideas?
